FLYING INFLATABLE BOAT
It is the marriage of a rigid inflatable boat and a hang gliding wing, imagined and built by Polaris, an italian company. A remarkably efficient and best-of-breed machin for our region and a very different way to hover close to the waves or by the clouds, surrounded by the Agriates desert and its legendary beaches, Saleccia, Lodu... with the Cap Corse and the village of Nonza on the horizon.

The flying boat ...
> THE FIB: designed in the 80s by the company Polaris Motor s.r.l in Gubbio in Italy, the FIB (Flying Inflatable Boat) is registered with the International Aeronautical Federation. With a wing of 11.15 meters (36 feet), it has a two-stroke Rotax 582 engine and an 80 liter tank, with a maximum speed of 90 km / h (55 miles / h) and several hours of autonomy.
> WHY? The flying boat, with its semi-rigid hull, flexible wing and solid engine is very well suited to explore the protected Gulf of Saint Florent and its surroundings. In addition to our tandem paragliding activities, the flying boat offers the opportunity to discover the beautiful wild landscapes of the region and a more contemplative approach to flying.
> LOCATION: On La Roya beach, in front of the yellow buoys channel. Flights generally take place in the morning between 9:00am and 11:00am and at the end of the day between 4:00pm and 7:00pm. We do not take reservations by email.

Option 1: Fly from Saint Florent to the Agriates desert along some of the most beautiful beaches of Corsica (Saleccia, Lodu, ...) or to the tip of the picturesque village of Nonza in the Cap Corse - 30 min flight: 120 euros.

Option 2: Fly from Saint Florent to Ile Rousse or to the northern tip of the cap Corse - 60 min. flight: 200 euros.

Film of the flight: The flight is recorded from the wing, with a wide angle camera, on a 8 go microSD card: 30 euros.
> DRESS CODE & OBJECTS ON BOARD: dress as you wish and wear a sweater, we will ask you to remove your shoes as only your feet will get wet when your board the flying boat. Sunglasses are appropriate, hats and caps are not, you can bring your own camera (handheld, no stick).
> GIFT CERTIFICATE: offer a gift voucher for a flying boat ride by visiting our shop. For a memory to share, add the video option. Gift certificates are nominative and sent by email.
